The children’s dance festival
On March 29, 2016, on the stage of The State Central Concert Hall "Russia" (the city of Moscow), more than 500 talented children at the ages from 5 to 18 represented Izhevsk, Orenburg, Irkutsk, Astrakhan, Samara, Ulyanovsk, Kerch, Podolsk, Korolev and Moscow. Classical ballet, country dance, the modern jazz, contemporary, folk and other dance styles on the modern and advanced stage were woven into one whole performance. We prepared an eye-catching, spectacular show, where through the dance, children talked about the world around them. “Dance is my world, my world is in the dance” – this idea harbors so many right, good, bright and patriotic meanings.
The children’s WORLD is a space full of miracles. Children dream and believe that all their dreams will come true. With innocent and open steps, they start their path in this great world. With colorful kaleidoscope of dance, children unveil all the faces of their world, communicating to us everything that they see, care, concern, enjoy or look forward to.
PEACE. Today, this word regains its principal meaning – it is good relations, serenity, no hostility. Our country is most actively standing on peacekeeping in the whole world. And, it is for our children, that we, adults, must conserve the peace. In the dance, we showed the story that tells us that challenging tasks and patient labor always lead the young dancers to success. Modern dance today is not just movements onstage, it is also a visual, sophisticated and spatial solution.
