Twenty-nine young artists from 12 schools, colleges and choreographic academies from all over Russia became fellows of the Foundation of Svetlana Zakharova in the 2021-2022 academic year. Since 2008, the Foundation of the People’s artist of Russia, the laureate of the Russian state prize, the prima ballerina of The Bolshoi Theater, the etoile of La Scala, Svetlana Zakharova has been annually supporting students who have shown outstanding success in learning dance art and choreography, establishing personal scholarships for them.

She not only designed costumes to some Diaghilev ballets, but also gave money for “The Rite of Spring” – a ballet and orchestral work by Igor Stravinsky” – shared Bolshoi ballet superstar Svetlana Zakharova. Both of the ballets were highly praised by the audience.
